Primary Uses:  If you are taking a vehicle there to re-register, you may be asked for a certificate of conformity by the registering authority staff so they can ascertain the vehicle data they need. ICOC carries the key vehicle data usually required by EU countries' registering authorities. ICOC is also good for travelling in Europe, and tolls, etc, for reference.

The iCoC is also good for travelling in Europe, and tolls, etc, for reference.

Warnings: We have been hearing from customers in Spain that some ITV centres are insisting on the 'original' manufacturer's certificate of conformity or a 'technical specification' from the manufacturer, just to be able to do a vehicle test. They also sometimes insist on a local engineer's report or extra fees for admin reasons. We do not understand why but please bear this in mind when presenting a vehicle using a V5C and/or our documents as we do not guarantee acceptance of your application there based on our documentation or any other, due to the facts mentioned above. Please only buy an iCoC if you are willing to accept that our document may not satisfy certain ITVs or individuals. Please be sure that staff will also require you to meet certain non-vehicular criteria as well, like tax and residential status.

Please note: generally - during the Brexit period, we are hearing increasingly of widespread bad treatment of British car registrations within EU member states. During this volatile period please be extra sure to accept and respect our ongoing terms of service which are that no promises or guarantees are made by us as to any outcome of use of vehicle documents we supply. Please ask us for advice if unsure.
